    Classification:

    Nanopore DNA Methylation

    Introduction

DNA methylation plays a crucial role in maintaining normal cellular functions, genetic imprinting, embryonic development, and the onset of human tumors, making it one of the hottest areas of research today. Nanopore sequencing eliminates the need for bisulfite conversion or immunoprecipitation enrichment experiments, enabling direct detection of multiple DNA modifications, including 5mC, 5hmC,6mA, and 4mC.

    Applications

    Whole Genome Methylation Profiling

    DNA Methylation in Disease Research

    Epigenetic Regulation of Gene Expression

    Methylation-Based Biomarker Discovery

    DNA Methylation in Population Studies

    Highlights

Comprehensive modification detection: Detect multiple base modifications, such as 5mC,5hmC,6mA, and 4mC in a single experiment, offering high cost-efficiency.

Long read sequencing: Enables the identification of methylation sites in complex regions like repeats or transposons.

No GC bias: Achieves more balanced genome coverage and detects more methylation sites.

Dual insights from a single dataset: Obtain both structural variation (SV) and DNA methylation data simultaneously.
